Crumb Blocks

Another batch of pictures.  I'm participating in the "Crumb-a-Long" started by Jo.

These are seriously addictive!

These are so cute and measure 6 1/2 inches (unfinished).  They're a wonderful excuse to just sit and sew with no real pattern in mind and talk about using up all the little bits and scraps!

I love the little maverick stars... thanks for the demo of them on the cruise Bonnie!  :)

String Blocks Swap

I finally have a chance to post the pictures I took of the String Blocks I received in the string block swap from the quiltvilleswap yahoo group.

They are so beautiful!!  Now... what am I going to make with them?

Caribbean cruise is over

The cruise is over :(  But what wonderful memories!

Bonnie is absolutely amazing!  What a wonderful person!  Just as nice and fun and exciting in person as she is on her website and blog.

Jim and I will never forget this vacation or any of the wonderful people we befriended.

Below are Diane and Sherry from Wisconsin, our "Golden Girls"... hehehehe  They are the most animated, hilarious people you'd want to meet.

We have so many pictures from this vacation.  Had to get one of Jim with his new shirt... a beautiful bright orange... while on his first horseback riding experience.

Unfortunately, due to cruise regulations for the excursions, we had to wear helmets... lol  Probably a good thing since that was a really hot and sunny day and his head would have been extremely sunburned.

I'll post more later, I want to get some sewing done today with the new fabrics I acquired (during the workshops with the other ladies, and my trip to The Quilt Place in Rockledge, FL.)

We miss all of you already!

Today I did the last of the running around/shopping, laundry is almost finished, and then time to pack everything.

Robbie will be picking us up at 4:30am tomorrow morning (ugh!) so we can be at the airport for 5am... plane leaves at 6:50am for Philly, then we change planes and head to Orlando.  We should arrive around 12:45pm.

From there it's about an hour's drive to Cape Canaveral (well, it would be if I didn't have the notion for a little side trip to Rockledge first)... hehehe   The Quilt Place is a MUST STOP location.

A little dinner when we get to the Country Inn & Suites in Cape Canaveral, a cocktail party with Bonnie and some of the other 'cruisers' meeting there for the night, then we get shuttled to the ship Saturday afternoon.

Is it any wonder I have the jitters?
