Pieced baskets

I realized as I was getting ready to package up my baskets and take them to the post office that the purple one doesn't meet the requirements of the swap.  It's supposed to have a black and white background... oops.

So, I made one to replace it, and I'll keep the purple one for another project, maybe combine it with the blocks I receive in exchange, and make a few more to go with them.

Yay!  They're done!

I decided to take part in the block swap on Carol Doak's yahoo group.  Following her pattern, they're 7" blocks.  I had them done in January, but screwed up when trimming the outside of the first one (trimmed on the outsite line instead of at least a 1/4" past the line), so I had to make one more. 

Thankfully, they don't have to be all the same.  Made the purple one last night before dinner.

I might just have to make a bunch more, once I receive the 4 I'll get from the swap.
